What are the benefits of booking a Hawaiian Airlines Vacation Package?

With Hawaiian Airlines Vacations, you have the opportunity to earn HawaiianMiles on your Hawaiian Airlines flight as well as bonus miles for special partner promotions.  

In what currency are package prices displayed?

All prices for vacation packages are displayed in U.S. dollars (USD), unless specifically stated otherwise.

What is the baggage allowance?

You’re welcome to bring one (1) piece of carry-on luggage and one (1) personal item for no charge.  For additional baggage fees, please refer to the Hawaiian Airlines baggage fees and policies here.

Payments & Billing

My billing address is outside the U.S. Can I still book a Hawaiian Airlines Vacation?

Yes, we are able to accept credit cards with billing addresses from most countries and territories.

Is full payment required at the time of booking?

Yes. Full payment is required for hotel and vacation package booking. At this time, we do not accept deposits for vacation packages.

Can I pay using two separate credit cards?

No. One credit card is allowed per reservation. At this time, we cannot accept payment on two separate credit cards.

What forms of payment are accepted for the purchase of a Hawaiian Airlines Vacation?

Payment of your Hawaiian Airlines vacation is completely cash-free.  We accept all major credit cards including: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Diners Club.

Can I use my HawaiianMiles to book a vacation package?

At this time you are unable to redeem HawaiianMiles toward the purchase of a Hawaiian Airlines vacation package.

Can I use a Hawaiian Airlines gift card, gift certificate, or e-certificate to book a vacation package?

We do not accept Hawaiian Airlines gift cards, gift certificates, or e-certificates toward the purchase of Hawaiian Airlines vacation packages.


Changes & Cancellations

Can I change my package reservation?

Yes, you may change a package reservation. Please consider the following details before calling Hawaiian Airlines Vacations to change your package: Expect to pay a $200.00 per package change fee plus any package price difference.  To make changes to a vacation package, please contact us at 1-800-725-2185.

Can I cancel my package reservation?

Outside of our 24 hour courtesy cancellation policy, package reservations are non-refundable.

Booking Questions

How can I book a package?

Hawaiian Airlines Vacations may be  purchased online via link or using the  “Vacation Packages” search tab on the HawaiianAirlines.com Home page, or over the phone at 1-800-323-9882.

When I book a flight with my Hawaiian Airlines Vacations package, how do I select my seat assignments?

During the vacation package booking process, you will be offered the option to select your seat assignments. If you choose not to reserve them at the time of booking, seats will automatically be assigned to you when available. All seat selections are not guaranteed, and confirmed seat assignments will be available for viewing via  My Trips.

Is it possible to upgrade to first or business class if available?

To see if first or business class options are available, choose first class under ‘flight search options’ on the Search Vacation packages tool to filter your air results. If you would like to upgrade after you have already purchased your vacation, contact customer service at 1-800-725-2185. Seat upgrades are also available day of travel at the airport for an additional charge.

I received this message: We are unable to complete your transaction.  What should I do?

I was in the middle of confirming a reservation when my computer froze. What should I do now?

Even if the Reservation Confirmation screen did not appear before you were disconnected, our system may have already completed your reservation. Please contact us at 1-800-323-9882 to verify whether the reservation transaction was completed.

Where do I enter my promotion code?

On the " Check-out: Traveler Information" page look for the Loyalty Number Information section.  In this section, please use the box labeled ‘Promo Code (if applicable)’ to enter your promotion code.

Do you offer a best-price guarantee?

We currently do not offer a best-price guarantee on our vacation packages. For inquiries regarding a vacation package booking, please call 1-800-323-9882.  

When I checked the vacation price yesterday, it was lower or higher than it is today. Why?

When you price a Hawaiian Airlines Vacations package, you are viewing live inventory. Because prices are based on many factors, including availability of rooms/room types, flights, and demand for the packages, prices can fluctuate, even within minutes. It is not uncommon for prices to fluctuate. The only way to secure a vacation price is to complete your booking and make a full payment.

What is included in the price of the package for my hotel?

In addition to the package components, (flight, hotel and car if selected), the package price includes all applicable government and carrier taxes and fees. The price does not include resort fees (or similar mandatory fees, payable directly to the hotel) or gratuities. Some hotels charge an energy surcharge, meals (unless otherwise noted), rollaway and/or crib charges, parking fees, telephone fees and guest incidentals. These will be added to your bill upon check-out.

Where can I find more details on each hotel?

Hotel descriptions are available for each hotel we offer. You can find details about the hotel accommodations, amenities, location, and more by clicking on the name of the hotel, or please contact us at 1-800-323-9882.

The hotel I want is not listed on the hotel selection screen. Why?

Your preferred hotel may not appear on the hotel selection screen for several reasons. The preferred hotel may not be available for the travel dates you specified, or we may not offer your preferred hotel. If you feel strongly about a particular hotel, try searching for new travel dates. If the hotel is sold out for even one of the travel dates, it does not appear in the list.  For further assistance, please contact us at 1-800-323-9882.

What should I bring to check-in to my hotel?

To check-in to your hotel, you will need a government-issued ID and valid credit card. Although it is not required at check-in, we recommend that you bring a copy of your reservation confirmation. You can print your confirmation via your confirmation email or here. Note: Your package confirmation number will not necessarily be the same as the reservation number at the hotel.

How do car rentals work within a vacation package?

Car rental prices shown are for a 24-hour period for each day purchased. Weekly rates require a minimum rental, otherwise daily rates apply. Car rentals include unlimited mileage, check individual polices for exception. Drop off fees may apply to one-way rentals. Fuel, taxes and surcharges, additional drivers and optional coverage and infant seats are not included and are payable directly to the car rental agency. A credit card will be required at the time of rental for any charges not included in the prepaid voucher; e.g., fuel, tax, additional drivers, optional coverages or infant seats. Infant seats are available at domestic locations only, on request only and are not guaranteed.

Renters must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license and credit card. A surcharge may apply for renters under the age of 25. Additional drivers must be 25 years of age and an additional driver fee may apply.

Customers using a foreign license must provide either a valid passport or a valid resident alien card to rent a vehicle.

What do I need to travel to an international destination?

A valid passport with an expiration of more than 6 months from your scheduled return date is required for all international travel. In addition, you may be subject to Visa Foreign Entry Requirements as well. The International Airport Departure Tax is additional. You are required to adhere to all travel warnings, safety issues, health issues and emergencies as instructed by the U.S. State Department.

What travel support can I expect after I make a reservation?

Confirmation email: After your reservation is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email, with your itinerary, flight and hotel confirmation numbers and ticket number(s). Should you require additional assistance, please call 1-800-725-2185.

Will I earn HawaiianMiles on my Hawaiian Airlines Vacations package?

With Hawaiian Airlines Vacations, you have the opportunity to earn HawaiianMiles on your Hawaiian Airlines flight as well as bonus miles for special partner promotions.  At checkout, please provide your HawaiianMiles number in the Loyalty Information section.

I booked a vacation package but I haven’t received my HawaiianMiles yet.  What should I do?

HawaiianMiles earned on vacation packages will be credited within 6-8 weeks upon completion of travel.  If you haven’t received your HawaiianMiles, please contact the HawaiianMiles Service Center.
